3^rd Meeting on High Performance Computing in Molecular Simulation (HPCMS-IV)

 October 1^st- 2^nd 2009, Madrid(Spain)

The GEMPPO group of the Instituto de Estructura de la Materia is pleased to announce the third meeting on "High Performance Computing in Molecular Simulation" organized jointly this time with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).

The purpose of this meeting is to get together different scientists working in molecular simulation and HPC experts to share information and experiencies in the usage of advanced computational tools. 

The Meeting is organized in three different sections, namely, scientific, technical and a final debate. The scientific section will be divided in two sub-sections, covering Life sciences and Structure of Matter & Material sciences respectively. The technical section will offer information about state of the art, perspectives and possibilities regarding High Performance Computing and its applications to Molecular Simulation. The final debate will be a unique occasion to share opinions and promote discussion among participants.

A number of grants will be available for students. Applications from graduate students and young post-doctoral fellows are encouraged.
